Yes. It uses the browser's TextEncoder/TextDecoder with UTF-8, so each code point becomes one to four bytes and round-trips perfectly — a café or 🤖 become the correct multi-byte sequence and decode back exactly.

What input formats are accepted for binary?

Accepted Answer

The decoder accepts any grouping of 0 and 1 separated by whitespace. 8 bits per group is expected. Bits outside a full byte at the end are ignored.
