Instagram Bio Line Break Generator

How does this work?

Instagram's bio backend ignores plain newlines but accepts most Unicode characters. The trick: insert an invisible character (specifically U+200B ZERO WIDTH SPACE) at the start of any empty line. Instagram now considers each line "non-empty" and preserves the line break — but the zero-width space is invisible to readers.

Step-by-step

1. Type or paste your bio in the input above. Press Enter normally for line breaks.
2. The right side shows the formatted version with invisible characters inserted.
3. Click "Copy formatted bio".
4. Open Instagram → your profile → Edit Profile → Bio.
5. Long-press the bio field, choose Paste. Line breaks will appear.
6. Tap Save / Done — the breaks will persist this time.

Tips for great Instagram bios

• Keep it scannable — line breaks help readers parse your bio in 2 seconds, not 10.
• Lead with the role — first line is what's most visible. Make it count.
• Stick to 150 characters — including the invisible chars (this tool tracks both).
• Use emojis as bullets — they replace bullet points and add visual interest.
