LinkedIn banner safe zones

• Profile picture overlay — Your circular profile photo sits in the bottom-left of the banner on desktop. About 240×240 pixels of the banner are hidden under it. Don't put text or important content in that region.
• Mobile crop — On mobile, LinkedIn crops the banner more aggressively (about 25% off each side). The mobile view shows roughly the center half horizontally.
• Right-side text safe zone — The top-right and middle-right are most reliably visible across all surfaces (desktop, mobile, embedded previews).

Banner design tips

• Use one strong message, top-right area
• Stay on-brand (your headshot's vibe + the banner should feel like the same designer made them)
• If you need text, make it bigger than feels right — at 1584×396 displayed in feeds at ~700px wide, type halves in size
• Avoid solid blocks of color behind where your profile pic goes — looks lazy when half is hidden
