Compact cars: 30-40 MPG (city) and 35-45 (highway). SUVs: 18-25 MPG. Hybrids: 45-55. Pure EVs convert at MPGe ~100+. UK MPG is ~20% higher than US MPG because the UK gallon is larger.

How is L/100km different from MPG?

MPG = miles per gallon (higher = better). L/100km = litres per 100 km (lower = better). Most of the world outside the US uses L/100km. 6 L/100km ≈ 39 US MPG.
