How does PDF merging work?

This tool uses pdf-lib to copy pages from each of your PDFs into a single new PDF document, in the order you specify. The merge happens entirely in your browser — your PDFs are never uploaded anywhere, so confidential contracts, internal reports and signed agreements are safe to combine here.

Reorder before merging

After dropping your PDFs, the file cards appear in upload order with their page counts. Drag any card to a new position to change where its pages appear in the final merged document. Use the × button to remove a PDF from the merge list without re-uploading the others.

What gets preserved?

• ✅ All page content (text, images, vector graphics, annotations)
• ✅ Internal page-to-page links within each source PDF
• ✅ Form fields and signature placeholders (though you may need to re-flatten after merge)
• ❌ Outline bookmarks from individual PDFs — pdf-lib's merge currently flattens these
